The
Practice has specialist knowledge and skills in the repair, conservation
and alteration of period buildings and their settings, and a track
record of handling difficult planning
and listed building issues.
Careful
analysis of each project on a multi-disciplinary level is essential
to our work. The efficient management and co-ordination
of projects, whether they be large or small, ensures that we give
value for money. Projects are completed to programme and within budget
and we respond quickly to demanding schedules. We
aim to find imaginative solutions to the problems our clients bring
us and to enhance their environment either in new surroundings or
by sympathetic repair or alteration of existing buildings. The appreciation
of materials and craftsmanship is paramount to all we do and we would
wish our work to endure and give pleasure for many years.
We
believe that there is often a case for modern design in an historic
context and therefore our approach is not always to blend discreetly
with the past but where appropriate we incorporate new work in a contemporary
idiom.
The
application of innovative technology can also enhance the conservation
of our built heritage and we aim to keep abreast of new ideas.
As a result a number of our projects have included state-of-the-art
building services and this has become an interest of the Practice.
Please
contact Daniel Forshaw for more information about the Practice and
the services we can offer you.
